Q. Will your script beat Snapnames?
A. During our initial testing period their were occasions where our script successfully registered names that had snaps on them.  Remember, Snapnames uses over one dozen registrars and dedicated lines to grab names.  Because Snapnames is monitoring thousands of names, they can be beat.

Q. Can your script beat Namewinner?
A. Yes, we consistently beat Namewinner with bids in the $25 to $500 range. Remember, the higher the bid on NW the greater the odds that other drop services are monitoring the same name.

Q. Why should I use your server based script when I can use a desktop API.
A. Using a script that resides on a server gives you the edge over the competition using desktop programs.  Registering a name, server to server is much quicker then going through a DSL line or a dial up modem.

Q. What is the maximum number of names I can monitor?
A. You can monitor an unlimited amount of names through our admin panel.

Q. How many checks per second can your script complete.
A. Our script is capable of running thousands of checks per second, however you must remain within Enom's guidelines in order to not get your IP address banned.  Enom currently allows 1 request per second and 24,000 requests per day for all .com, .net and .org extensions.

Q. What are your server requirements for your drop script?
A. You will need a UNIX based server with the following Perl modules (available at CPAN.org):  CGI, CGI:: Carp, Date::Parse, Date::Format, Time::HiRes, libwww-perl (which includes LWP, LWP:: UserAgent, HTTP::Request, etc).  You will also need to have cron capability on your server. The script is written for perl 5.006. If you have any questions pertaining to your type of hosting please check with your current host.

Q. What time do domains drop?
A. Most registrars are now dropping their pending delete names on the 6th day from the update date at 2pm EDT.  We recommend running the script from 2pm to 3pm just in case.

Q. Will there be future upgrades of your script?
A. Yes. We are constantly working to improve the odds of grabbing quality names.  We are currently working on additional registrar capability with our current script.  All users will be entitled to our upgrades at no charge at the time of release.
